Nana’s chair

I don’t know about you but this quarantine has allowed me to get a lot of customer quilts done and finish up some of my own projects.  I have a chair that belonged to my grandmother that I have been wanting to paint and reupholster for several years.  I finally did it and am so happy with how it turned out.  I wasn’t able to go out and buy upholstery fabric so I made my own using a 100% cotton top, a layer of batting and a muslin backing.  Then I quilted it up on my longarm.  It worked perfectly!
I used the BBFrosch chalk paint powder mixed with a little navy Behr paint I had on hand.  No sanding or stripping necessary.  Sealed it with the BBFrosch clear wax.

I do hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy!
